Words can't do justice to my experience in Los Angeles with H&M. It has surely been one of the most memorable work trips in my entire blogger career. Even though my time in the City of Angels was extremely short and revolved mainly around the H&M show, I managed to soak up every single second and brought back so many amazing memories; the most intense being the night of the show itself, on Wednesday, October 18.
If you ask me, this is H&M's best (and personal favorite) designer collaboration to date and I feel extremely honored to have been amongst the few lucky ones - including the likes of celebrity fashionistas such as Kate Bosworth, Alexa Chung, Kirsten Dunst and Selma Blair - invited to attend the big launch.
If you followed my IG stories that evening, you'd know that the event's highlight (besides the uber-romantic, out-of-this-world English garden setting at the historic Ebell of Los Angeles) was the screening of the dramatic short film that brings the collection to life directed by legendary Baz Luhrmann. I literally found myself bursting into tears by the end of it. You can get an idea by watching the teaser below, as the full version will remain secret for a few more days.
Unfortunately for you the collection does not launch in-store & online until November 2, but at least you have the time to carefully make your wishlist cause I can assure you these items are bound to sell out fast.
A huge thank you to H&M, Erdem & Karla Otto for having me in the city of Angels. It's been real.
