And YES, I am officially a TEDx speaker! I still cannot believe it. I know some of you may feel that I am being a bit annoying these days due to the fact that I keep referring to it, however it's a (BIG!) dream come true. Are you acquainted with the feeling of fulfillment when you finally make a dream your reality? I am talking about THAT special feeling.
I can still remember the moment I was introduced to TED talks.
I'd spent days watching multiple videos of ex speakers and it suddenly crossed my mind that one day I would like to become one of them myself.
But, it's one of those thoughts that you keep very deep in your heart and don't dare to express to anybody. It's one of the things that you know if it gets out there, it will lose its magic.
Choosing "blogger" as my full-time profession, I knew it would not easily get me a ticket to TED. However, time proved me wrong. So wrong.
When my phone rang almost two months ago and I was asked to participate in TEDxKomotini, I knew that my life would feel so different from that moment on.
It became obvious that some people out there consider my and Nat's path in blogging a significant one and getting acknowledged by important people who consider our story worth-telling gave me a sense of self-fulfillment and honor.
Being up on that stage was one of the most intimidating moments of my life, but at the same time it felt so rewarding and made me feel so powerful. You can watch my speech below!
During my time in Komotini, I met so many interesting and amazing people; people that will always have a special place in my heart. The two days I got to spent there, were two of the most beautiful days of my life. It's been a lifetime experience and I want to thank you all for being part of this journey so far. I was finally given the motivation I had starting to lose to keep blogging.
